Thanks guys. Think it looks a bit more fresh. Have owned the truck for more than 4 years now and going to use it one more year. I have never had one car for more than 3 years. Like my X. Before this one I had E53 4,4 for 2 years. Liked it a lot. So 6 years with E53-s now. Next one will most probably be X6.

On the E39 5 series for example, this has after after the turbo,2x kats, going to 2 middle silencers and then one single pipe to only one straight through design rear muffler with a tip pointing out.
Wow, never knew!
BTW: Those are some wide tires...

That looks like a lot of work...SICK but even the fenders look different...how much did it cost to do the whole transformation?

The tires are strictly for driving in heavy snowstorms only, so no one could see them. Hope the photos do no leak and it well be a secret between us only. Tires have spikes in them btw.

All parts come from 06 X5. Total cost for parts about 2000USD + couple of weekends my own time. Not too much I guess. Get most of it back by selling the old parts that are in perfect shape. The best part is I even did not have to paint the parts since my car and donor car were both black shappire. My car is polished at least once a year and you cannot see the difference even in sunlight.
