Howdy,
Have just had a great 30000km drive around Australia, took the X5 where BMW usually never venture, as a result now I keep getting the fuel blowing back/bubbling up in the fuel filler tube every time I try to re-fuel, it is taking forever to fill as the fuel pump keep "clicking" off, I have tried holding the fuel pump nozzle at different angles, no luck. When looking at the the filler hole there is a small round grey plug at the 3 o'clock position just wonder if this is meant to stick out a bit to allow air to escape? I know there must be a breather hose that is blocked or bent but cannot find it.. any ideas to fix this problem would be appreciated greatly.
