interior light bulb removal

I'm trying to replace my interior ceiling (above the rear doors) and map/reading (above front center) light bulbs with LED's. Having a real hard time taking off the plastic housing for both. I see that there's a screwdriver insertion point but it doesn't seem to budge when I pry at at it. Anyone know how to take these off? They both come partially out but it seems like something is holding them from popping out all the way.

The light housings are retained by several stainless steel spring clips that need to be pushed over somewhat, then the light fittings will simply come out.

Thank you for the links. The e46 xenon light install video on bimmian.com helped a lot. The center map light is the same as the X5. I got it off with ease this time. As for the interior side ceiling light housings, I found that it is actually comprised of 2 pcs. By pushing the housing to the right then pulling on the right side, the right cover portion will snap out. Then doing it the same for the other side. Last step for removal would be pulling the cover all the way down (swings down like a hinge) and pulling on the entire housing to get it out of the ceiling. BTW, your complete install looks great! Thanks again
