New 4.6is in Ga

Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself properly to the forum. I'm now the proud owner of a 2002 X5 4.6is silver on black with just at 90k on her. I just recently sold my imola red 2001 740i sport that i drove for 3 years. What a great car! I've had my eyes on a 4.6 for a while though but trying to find the right one at the right price was definitely difficult. The PO of this one has just replaced v.c. gaskets, valley pan, intake gaskets, plugs, trans fluid, pads/ rotors all the way around, fuel filter, water pump...the list goes on! Bascially the typical higher mileage M62tu stuff. The truck runs like an absolute dream I have to say.

I'm a BMW technician here on St. Simons Island. Any Georgia boys ought to be familiar with where that is. Do any of the Southeasters have get togethers? I also am in the process of purchasing a laptop GT1 setup with coding/programming capabilities and would be glad to help anybody in the area.

I don't have any pics of the beast yet as I just got back from Orland, Fla for the pickup last night at midnight in the rain!
