Angry Reimbursement question for Weasel, killcrap or anyone else w/ dealership experience

Long story short, I had to have my alternator replaced my an indy shop while on a business trip. After the X was completed, I started on my 8hr road trip to have the bellypan come loose, taking the fender liner w/ it. It drug along the bottom of the car, the tire burned a hole in the fender liner and should be replaced. I called the shop owner and told him what happened, there was a pause, a sigh, then admitted that another employee touched the vehicle also and that the rest of my belly pan was still there on the shop floor. I've also noticed that 2 of the roughly 8 bolts that hold on entire front plastic piece forward of the belly pan are missing as well. I drove to the nearest exit where the shop owner drove to me (about an hour away already) secured the fender liner for me, and we discussed reimbursement options, but nothing specific until I got replacement prices and labor estimates.

Also, now that I've reached my destination I've noticed that the the passenger side doorpanel has been pulled on so hard that door panel released itself from the door under where the tweeter is located. I can only imagine one of the shop guys used the door to pull himself up from the creeper and detached the panel w/o putting it back on 100% securely as no one has been in the passenger side of the vehicle the entire trip, not to mention I'd notice something like this almost immediately.

Lastly, I've also noticed that all but one of my telescoping wheels functions is whisper quite, w/ the exception of the wheel coming straight in and out. I honestly have no clue how this could have happened, but I know my X in and out, and I know w/ 100% certainty that it never did this before. It'll still move, but it honestly sounds like the gears are stripped. I didn't notice this till the day after when the vehicle sat overnight, locked, and the steering wheel had moved back down into my lap after I started the car the following morning.

I'm absolutely furious that I had to pay someone $750 for something that would have cost me $350 to do myself, but it is what it is. My biggest pet peive is to always return my customers vehicles to them better than how I received them...engine bay washed (partly for my own benefit before starting work) exterior washed, dryed and interior vacuumed. They spilled so much coolant in the engine bay that I had to replace the serpentine belts due to CONSTANT squeeling at startup...cleaning and degreasing the engine after their work hasn't solved it. I didn't expect this kind of service from any shop with all the positive reviews they've gotten, but I also never expected to receive my X back WORSE that how it was delivered to them.

My question is what is the book labor time to remove and replace the passenger side front fender liner along w/ the entire piece that connects it from the passenger side of the car to the drivers side, as pieces of it were torn off and are now missing. Also, book time to remove the passenger side door panel so I can replace what appears to be only a few clips that were broken from their attempt to re-attach the door panel. The grinding noise when the wheel telescopes I'll have to inspect further myself, but I'm hoping its something where the gears aren't shot and some grease can cure. As I said before, we've already discussed about getting replacement parts for my fender liner and other broken pieces, but I'm also curious as to what kind of labor charges I should ask for. SOME of my anger w/ those whole experience has subsided, but I'm not going to let this slide for replacement parts and labor in order to at least get it back to how it was delivered to them.

these are labor times for vehicles under warranty, multiply labor by 1.5 for customer pay/insurance/extended warranty

Thanks for looking this up killcrap. Now i've just gotta get on RealOEM to find the missing bolts I need, order a bag of doorclips and tear into the steering column while praying for the best.

Called around to junkyards and couldn't find used fender liners (to be mildly nice and give the guy a break vs dealership prices) for under $75 plus $35 shipping. Thank god for ebay as I was able to find brand new replacements for $27 plus $13 shipping. I used your calculations for the labor times @ my rate, and he's agreed to sent a check for $195.50. Once it comes in the mail, I'll be happier...but for now I'm satisfied that at least the ball is rolling to get this remedied.

Thanks again for the info killcrap.
