ok, I have been meaning to ask my dealer the same question. However, it always to escape my mind whenever I am at the dealership. I know how to turn on the rear wipers but never figure out how to turn on the spray. We moved and I have lost the manuals to the truck. Don't ask my why it's not in the truck.

Push the right hand stalk. You can also change the delay interval by turning it on and off with this stalk. Also, the owner's manuals are listed on this site, under Online Rerences. If you can't see the tab, it may be because it is only available to premium members.

Ours sprays...and is now frozen and does not work at all.

Apparently I did not use cleaner with a low enough temperature tolerance before freezing.

After using the rear washer fluid the back of my X5 looks like it sneezed on itself... I unplugged the washer pumps for the rear washer and headlight washers on my truck, don't need that stuff down here.

Want to trade? I have a defective headlight pump and don't really want to shell out the $$ for a new one.

If you were local it would be possble, but with having to ship cross country and wait with no fluid in there to use even for the headlight washers it wouldn't be worth it.

It's only $66 on ECS tuning here.

Or even better, $37.50 at pelicanparts.com here.

Great thread. Mine too pours out and then dribbles. I think it has prostatic hyperplasia. Pretty annoying to be honest. I wish there was a way to get it to spray nicely (like the fronts). I considered using Flomax (tamsulosin), it seems to work better on people than cars.

They do, but that hasn't stopped mine from getting frozen in the past.
