Diesel X5 - Difficulty Starting on cold mornings!

We haven't removed the glow plugs yet as we are busy trying to keep all our other vehicles on the road in this cold spell, we will be removing them for checking probably next week.

The rear fuel pump does appear to be fine.

We expect one or more faulty glow plugs to be the final problem, this is the first vehicle we have had for years which doesn't have some sort of indication using the dash lights to indicate glow plug problems and it surprises me that the "pre-heater" message only flashes up on the display rather than staying on the display until the glow plugs switch off.

I'll post what I find.
