Dropped the X, baller on a budget style. $250

Just got done, its been a bit cold here in Texas believe it or not.

Went with B&G front springs from EACTuning for $185 and rear links from loweringlinks for $65. Rob from lowering links is a great guy and I salute him, ordered links Sunday, he sent them out Monday as promised and I recieved them Thurs, Xmas eve... EAC was good too, ordered Wednesday last week, got the springs Monday Evening this week.

anyways.

before are first 2 pics and then aft pics.

I forgot to measure before and aft.

also 25mm spacers in the rear, should had gone for 30mm and i have 10mm for the fronts on order

before i was able to fit 4 fingers loose up front and able to fist the rear with room to spare now, 2 fingers with a little room to spare and rear is a tight 3 fingers.

Looks great! Could you please take some pictures from the rear? I want to see how much the wheels stick out from the rears with 25mm spacer. I thought 15mm would make those 285s flushed with the rear fender, but your 25mm seems to be perfect.

I do not see any reason why not. I have seen 4.6iS vehicles use this or similar setup and not have an issue.

Why do you say that? The drop is 1-2 inches which really is nothing crazy. Many spring kits offer that on the 3 Series and 5 Series and those vehicles can get very close to pulled back into OEM alignment specs outside of the rear camber(not adjustable on 3 Series BMWs stock).

Honestly have 2-3 degrees of negative camber is nothing crazy. Camber doesn't kill tires by itself. Camber with toe that is out of control is what quickly kills tires.
