vacuum question not covered in search
on the very top of the engine on the left side there are two vacuum sensors that have two wires running out of each. what do they do? are they important? the reason i ask is that fu*&(ng mice chewed through one set and dam near the other. one set is a easy solder back together the other furthest to the back is chewed off right at the plug and there is not enough wire to get any sort of connection but the wires run all the way into the harrness so i am not sure what to do about that one. i wonder if you can get just the connector with some pig tails off of it. any help would be greatly appreciated |

thoes are for the secondary air system, the 4.6 engine uses 2 of thoes, and the 4.4 only uses 1. you can get the repair harness at the dealership.
