Coolant tank go south...

For the last day or so I had a " Check coolant low " message or something like that. Yesterday I checked the coolant and saw that it was low, so I proceed to add some but it was no brainer to see the expansion coolant tank was leaking.

Further investigation show that the coolant tank is cracked and needed to be replaced so I order a replacement from Bav auto but it wont probably arrived before next monday, until then the X5 is in the drive way and I wont drive it until then.

After my vacation in the south, I'm going to have a full inspection done to the X5, I was thinking to replace the hoses, water pump, thermostat, maybe the oil separator, a complete tune-up but also have a tranny flush.

It's been a while since I got stuck with one of my vehicle, but I hate when this crap happend out of no where, but for now I'm going to drive the wife 08 Rogue and breath by the nose as we say here.
