I checked behind me glove box and found a long white box with 3 leads going into it. Unplugged them all and a loud beep noise came on for 10 sec.Think its central locking module as it click when I lock the Jeep. I then opened the light in the front in the roof (red nose) and found 4 adaptors(plugs) The leads from the mirror with the red clown nose on it run up to the light and is plugged into the light unit. The other plugs dont plug into anything. Should these be connected to something. Whats behind the light in the roof for the rear. I think now the FARMER who owned the car before me from new never got remote central locking. Is it standard on the x5. Now I am really confused

all x5's come with remote central locking, not all x5's come with alarm system, the plug that you see are for Garage Door opener, Microphone, and or Sunroof.
