Bluetooth problems! Advice please!

Have a 2004 X5 e53.

i Cant get the bluetooth to work. I have tried everything, even changed the TCU/ulf modul. From 2004 to a 2006 TCU.

When doing the procedure, i get no flashing lights. Cant find any units.

Another strange thing, i bought a snap in adapter aswell. There is no power on the unit, the phone won't charge.

Any ideas? starting to get confusing!!

i dont believe that system works out of the box without the correct coding code. there is a retrofit coding to allow the bluetooth to become operation

what is the part number of the eject box? some require the use of an additional male to male harness. if you installed this system recently, check the power circuit eg. fuse for the telephone system.

I replaced the TCU in my 04 as well, didn't need to have it re-coded. The only time you need to have it re-coded is if you want the assist to work I believe.

Worked instantly with my iPhone as soon as I did the swap
