I just did mine yesterday. It was a real pita to get the center console out. But, I am very happy with the end result.

How did you wrap the knob? Did you take the shift knob apart?

Nope.. Not sure if you can do that..? Just use heat and patience.. The fabric stretches a lot,

What is the exact size (in x in) or (meters by meters) measurement of DI-NOC need to wrap a 2005 X5 trim interior ?

You'll need 36x36 inches.
BTW don't buy the glossy one it has the metal film tint to it ..It will make the job harder and it doesn't stretch well.. |

That is the same one i used.The textured of this matte black looks almost like the real CF.
You'll heat gun or hair dryer and exactor knife. |
