Instrument Cluster Failure?

Hi folks, i was driving around yesterday in the snow in my 2005 3.0D sport auto and i lost all information on cluster, fuel gauge, temp, speedo, revs, absoluteley everything. The sat nav has also gone off along with heated seats and hill descent, pdc will only work if switched on manually and when the ignition is switched on the cooling fan runs constantly. I have tried removing battery terminals for 30 mins but has no effect, i think it's a trip to my local stealer on monday unless anyone has any advice even a little background knowledge just for piece of mind.

Oops almost forgot, the car seems to run perfectly well.

Many thanks, Russell

Kill beat me to it, but this is a common problem on the 5/7 boards, and its going to start being a common problem here as well since the X's are starting to age.
