Castrol Syntec ok?
Reaaaally basic question. Sorry to use bandwidth for this, but.. I need to top off the X's engine. I normally buy a few quarts of BMW's Castrol oil to keep in the garage, but I was out and bought Castrol Syntec from an auto parts chain store instead. Haven't put it in yet. It says 'all synthetic oil'. Is Syntec safe to use in place of BMW's branded Castrol oil? ( I'm assuming its the same exact oil??).

Sorry for the lamo post. I searched the articles but not have any references to this. Thx.
