Help install battery backwards!

I installed a new battery backwards by not paying attention. Car cranks and starts fine except nav, radio and some interior lights and getting self leveling inactive but headlight work , heated seats work. I check nav fuse and some others and they seem fine. What might have blowned and what might be the price to get this fixed?

Every electronic module has possible been ruined unless they feature some sort of protection device. I would neither keep the vehicle nor want to buy it.

I think you need to check every signal fuse and go from there.

not sure if battery terminals have been switched back to the correct connections. electronic circuit designs usually come with diode protection to block reverse voltage. however, this depends on their design. best to check fuses using a mutlimeter. if fuses are ok, battery connections corrected and electronic devices do not operate, then i'd fear for the worse.

Guys, i get half of my electronics operating. IE headlights, front windows ,moon roof, heated seats. My nav ,radio and back windows ,self leveling and interior lights arent working. I checked some of the fuses and they seem ok. when that happened i was getting white smoke coming from the engine. The vehicle cranks up and can drive it off.

It would appear that the things that are working are either lights or electric motors that would normally not be damaged but modules most likely are not protected so will not work. If the engine starts then the main computer was protected.
At least that's my read from afar. No real way of telling without having it connected to a GT1 or the like to see if all the modules can be read.

White smoke could be from cranking the vehicle while checking things out and not letting it run long enough.
