MRBMWX5 is right. The whole front bumper cover for the 4.8is is molded in one piece and plastic cage weld reinforced on the inside to give it some structural support. You need to buy a whole replacement cover for your 3.0. The 4.8is front cover is hard to find if you don't buy new. I tried to find one for a year, and only came across one or two on ebay over that time period. It will cost you a pretty penny new + paint. I ended up buying a reconditioned front bumper that looked brand new and had it painted. The "4.8is look" conversion is not cheap. JST's estimate is about right, maybe a little more depending on where you get the parts painted and where you source all the flares, rear valence, valence caps, and front cover.
