2002 x5 4.4i tailgate light issue
http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/e5...y%20Repair.pdf i used the link above to solve my check rear lights, check brakes lights panel notifications. but i am now faced with a new dilemma - tail gate lights will not work at all. they stopped working immediately after repairing the brake/rear lamp. i checked the bulbs and fuses - no problems there. any ideas? i appreciate any help you can provide. |

Try removing the bulb housings and sanding down the contact points so you have fresh copper(or whatever the conductor material is) touching the metal. I had problems with my '01 and this fixed it.
