Man, they drove the heck out of that thing >25K/year. Still looks good though. I would be very interested to see the service history on it to see if some of the X's "prone to failure" parts are linked more to mileage or time.

My thoughts exactly, ZsX5o3!

You figure they probably either got it as a low-ball trade-in or at auction for $3to7K less than what they are offering it for and will probably settle for a grand or two less than the current offer. A vehicle like this could turn a quick $2to5K profit in a short time.

Judging by the missing cigarette lighter in rear and retractable deck cover, along with the presence of a trailer hitch, this vehicle was probably used pretty hard.

Still, might not be a bad buy if your indie gives it the green light and you are ready to address the "prone to failures" mentioned above that have not yet happened ...

First thing I noticed too, it has a full roof rack too. Owner must have really liked the outdoors

Roof rack, tow hook... It's up for bid. There's no "Buy Now" price. Besides, a warranty will cost you a small fortune (~$4K) since it's outside the manufacturer's warranty period of 4/50K.

Whew...$40gs worth of usage/depreciation in less than 4 years.
Difficult, but not impossible to find an aftermkt powertrain warranty,
but it's gonna cost.

Meiac, was that you sludding your buddie's car around the curves &
mtns of upstate and NC, and putting all those miles on it?!
BR,mD

PS: the geniuses at Century BMW in S'Burg probably offered the
seller $18Gs, on his "$73G MSRP" car...
