i recommend spraying a little coolant in the door mechanism to prevent that occurrence again. Oil leak is not good, I wonder if the intermediate levers are in need of replacement. Let the dealership know right away about this because it is a common problem when misfiring occurs.

i had the same problem with misfires, i had intermediate levers replaced. Works great now!

btw i also have a 2004 4.4 with 75k miles

Hahaha...we should make this the official "rant" thread......

I had a hell of a weekend too. Within one day, my brake light (ordered new pads and rotors all the way around) came on and then the SES light the same evening. The smog pump tanked again. A very expensive weekend.

I too, feel your pain.

Naz, did you need to go out-of-pocket on the intermediate levers? If not, was it run under an original warranty, extended warranty, or special "recall" financing?
