I have a 2005 x5 with a 3.0, in the last month my thermostat, oil separator, valve gaskets and now my alternator has gone out. Is all of this common around 66000 miles? What else can I expect in the coming months? Sorry my first post is complaining, but this thing is getting the best of me.

Oh yeah, thanks for all of the "how to" post, you have saved me hundreds if not thousands.
