Do I have to go staggered?
Do I really need to go staggered? Can I just go 9.5 all around, non staggered? |

yeah you can absolutely do that. what wheels and tires are you looking at?
IMO i would still go with the staggered because of the way it looks. it is def worth the extra $$

thats about normal. Truthfully the staggered really does look that much better. Go with Toyo Proxes S/T II tires, theyre relatively inexpensive and have a great tread life.
If youre worried about $$, try to find used rims, i think there may be a guy "selling" them here. let me search it

heres the post, theyre style 214 wheels, to put them on the e53 X5 youre going to need to buy hubcentric rings because the hubs are smaller on the older models. anyway in the post he said he "might" be selling the wheels. i'd shoot him a PM and see whatsup with that

... especially in gun metal If I'm not mistaken, I think Richi Rich purchased 214 reps for $600... (the price of the tires were more than the rims). |

Wow naz24, thank you so much... I really appreciate it.. I pmd him already.. lets see..
So, I found some 275-40-20 for real cheap, like $100 new each (or cheaper if I keep looking). Remember im also worried about the flat tires? and replacements, damages, potholes, and etc.. So thats why i wanted to go non-staggered, just to keep cost down, and protecting any future problems... |

So if I go non staggered, what do you think of a 275-40-20 on the rear? should that be ok?...
In my e36, i hated really low profile tires, i even kept changing them till i got 45's (I know wierd... but i kept getting flats at 30 or 35)...(and sometimes I felt uncomfortable)
