Nik, so you are in Georgia, former Soviet Union?
Excuse me, I always thought (when looking at location on people's profile) I always assume USA, the former center of the world; well until China takes over

The shop is going to take care of the situation by installing the upper timing cover gaskets. They are only charging me for any extra labor it would have been to do it while they were doing the valve cover gaskets. I am happy!

Weasel will become famous soon enough
That is the best course of action for them, glad they stepped up and care about customer satisfaction.

Here is the price quotes on a few things. My jaw almost dropped.

$390 valve cover gaskets
$1850 both upper timing cover gaskets
$2640 front lower control arms
$400 recommeded alignment with bushings
$250 prices plus tax

I would assume this all includes labor?
Are these guys serious??? Almost $3K for front control arms??? $2300 for VC & TC gaskets?? Something is wrong here. I would get an explanation on those prices.
