Why is so hard to find a 3.0 Sport?

You are looking for an 8-9 yr old model, and many did not come in "sport".
There are a few of us here, that have that car, but many of the '01s have
gone on to 2nd/3rd owner and most have more than 70k miles. Many have
become beaters/mod bases for kids, etc., imo

Even mine that "sits" alot, has 76k miles...

Not a used car classified maven, but keep looking in the usual spots, though
I suspect "cream puff" versions like a few of us have are going to be hard
to find. At least for me, I'm hanging onto mine for the foreseeable future,
as it's fun, drives well, long paid for, and hasn't glitched much, yet!

I am a "kid" and dont beat my X5!, but then again there are alot of kids i know who do. I look out my window everyday at a snow and salt covered 3.0i that some kid at my school has. what a damn shame

oh and i failed to mention my friend with a black 4.8is who doesnt wash his too often either. man what is this world coming to?
