I've got one I can't wait to get rid of. Silver w/gray int., 62K miles and mint. Completely stock w/19" staggered setup. Only thing I did to it was straighen up the rear wheels to -1.7 . . . and of course replace a several of its poorly designed parts. Currently battling SES light for misfires and lean mixture with symptoms of stumbling and poor acceleration. I'll even knock off $500 for the SES light.

Well I figured any forum member would know that poor reliability is to be expected with X5 ownership so no need to pull any punches right?

I think the reason why they're hard to find is because those who have purchased them new have tended to hang on to them since they are just such nice vehicles. We special ordered ours and took delivery in 11/01 - she's a 2002 Sport Premium with 98K miles and plan to keep for many more miles since she runs so well. We ordered the sport package mostly for the shadowline trim - didn't want the chrome around the windows.
