Appreciation

Yesterday when driving to work I saw another white X5. Some people would get annoyed at the fact that the exact same vehicle is on the road.

But I was in a good mood. As I approached the vehicle in the next lane I really began to notice that the owner had a few upgrades. He tinted his windows, put bigger rims and tires, X-type exhaust system, and a aerodynamic body kit. But it was not a 4.8is. It was just a regular 3.0l just more impressive looking.

Usually I would be a little upset at the fact that he's tying to be something that he's not. But as I keep thinking about I really appreciated the fact that there was another X5 owner. Using his X5, keeping it clean and making it look different from other white X5's.

My point is that I've begun to really appreciate the X5 and their owners that take care of them. So to all the X5 owners in the this thread thank you.

On behalf of myself, and I think I'm speaking for all of us, and I am unanimous in this, you're welcome.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE DRIVING AN X5 LIKE MINE!!!!!!! J/K

I don't think most people who do upgrades/ mods are trying to be a different model unless they start badging it as something other than it really is.

Personally, I don't want mine to look like everyone else's vehicle.

Around Brooklyn i tend to see an X5 every now and then but no one has an X that's upgraded and pimped out, I haven't seen one X with aftermarket navigation yet. I have seen this one X5 with the Depo Headlights like mine though

To be honest I was quite shocked lol.... but happy at the same token. Appreciate the X5ers myself, Thanks to you all

I can definately see what you mean.
Besides having the front bumper protection skirt. You also put the new X6's whees on your X5. Plus the Angel eyes and the HID fog lights (I think HID; they are just very bright)

Very well done

How much were the Angel Eyes? If I may ask

Actually the wheels are 215's that were/ are available on the E70.

Can't remember the cost on the angel eyes - mod was done many years ago using the bake and break method. The are Umnitza angel eyes - apparently same ones you can get really cheap now on eBay.
