So honestly how is the DIY projects on these? Reletively simple or more complex? I'm guesing the prone issues are cooling systems, suspension and control arms, window regulators. My other ride is an 98 e39 540ia sport. I do diy everything so I kind of have an understanding for bmw's. Not a master or expert but experienced with the 540. Looking forward in talking shop with you guys! Brian

Thanks guys! It is the 4.4L. M62tu right? Is the 05 the single or dual vanos?
my 98 is pre vanos but I've read up on how to do the vanos seals. I love workin on my rides. It is such an enjoyment being able to rebuild a car and making it look better than newer cars. |
