Factory Warranty almost over!!

Is there anything i should ask the dealership to look at? I'm actually kinda worried because everything now is gonna cost me. About a week left and bringing the X in tomorrow for service on the panoramic roof. Does not close correctly sometimes and is very jerky. They knew exactly what i was talking about, maybe it's a common problem?

My dealership has offered me a full detailing for $199 for the spring season. Is that a good deal?

any advice would be grest! thanks

To the OP: how did your dry rot tire situ work out?

A $200 "detail"...maybe yes, maybe no. If you don't
have the time or inclination, it may be worth it.
Not sure if the dlr is using good products and that
they won't return you car with amateur swirl marks.

See list Naz put up, but dlrs don't tend to offer up
a diagnostic inspection, just because your warranty
is about to expire; if you have specific complaints they
should check those out, but they aren't gonna offer
up some kind of annual physical for you, imo.

Go to an indy and have everything looked at. The dealership does not offer to "look at" things that need to be serviced, you need to go in with a specific complaint.

Can you still purchase CPO or is it too late? If not, I would definetly get it or some other good extended warranty. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on the fact that your X has not seen it's last repair shop. And future repairs are going to cost you. A good extended warranty on an X is worth it's weight in gold!

Now into the CPO section of life (54k) on mine and am picking her up in a few days with a new airspring (airstrut, whatever). Don't know how you can check it, but I don't think the parts & labor are cheap.

The dealer is not allowed to suggest repairs, only to fix what you complain about.

Take it to a reputable independent shop and have them go over the entire car.

Have evidence of all the known issues, suggest the dealership fixes them, should be good to go.

Is there a good warranty available for when the vehicle comes out of the CPO warranty period?
