Bosch Icon Size for Rear Wiper (Metal Arm)

Which is the best Bosch ICON wiper for the rear metal arm? I have Bosch Icons up front and want to match. I hear that 18" wipers hitting the spoiler at the top of the window. I measured the stock one I just took off and it's 17.5". These are the choices then:

417A, 417B, 418A, 418B (I beleive "B" is more curved which I would imagine is better for pressure on a deeply curved window.

So I'm thinking 417B? Any thoughts anyone?

I saw your reply about not xleanig the rear window properly. I had the same issue. I had corrosion at the hinge on the bottom. I took the wiper arm off and used a soft wire brush and cleaned. Moved it back and fourth and brushed it. Then put some PB Blaster there and moved it some more. Wiped it clean and removed the plastic u shape thing that holds the wiper and mine cleans perfect.

I don't think it matters. I bought anco blades and they were the regulars. I don't think the difference in a and b is the bend. Must have to do with the blade or rubber.

Thread revival....

So I did this combo all the way...loving the no chatter noise from the fronts now. My only problem is that the rear is leaving the entire middle like 6-8" completely misses, so it's riding on the tips of the arm. My X5 is an 01 and it's a plastic arm, which I'm now assuming matters

Clean then lubricate the joint/hinge...wiggle in & out of resting position a few times. Used to happen to me when hinge was full of debris or when temp' dropped.

When done, toss back a few brewskis and get on the good foot...you'll be good to go

The rear blade was always problematic for me so I eventually just replaced it with the OE blade and left it alone. No amount of cleaning/adjusting/lubing helped (or helped for long).
