Bosch Icon Size for Rear Wiper (Metal Arm)
 

Which is the best Bosch ICON wiper for the rear metal arm? I have Bosch Icons up front and want to match. I hear that 18" wipers hitting the spoiler at the top of the window. I measured the stock one I just took off and it's 17.5". These are the choices then:

417A, 417B, 418A, 418B (I beleive "B" is more curved which I would imagine is better for pressure on a deeply curved window.

So I'm thinking 417B? Any thoughts anyone?

I saw your reply about not xleanig the rear window properly. I had the same issue. I had corrosion at the hinge on the bottom. I took the wiper arm off and used a soft wire brush and cleaned. Moved it back and fourth and brushed it. Then put some PB Blaster there and moved it some more. Wiped it clean and removed the plastic u shape thing that holds the wiper and mine cleans perfect.

You are right I think mine is corroded too. Which replacement wiper should I get though??

I don't think it matters. I bought anco blades and they were the regulars. I don't think the difference in a and b is the bend. Must have to do with the blade or rubber.

I bought the 18B and it works great.

I just bought a rear blade from Auto Zone, their Flex brand, it matches my front icons and only costs $13. My rear hinge needs to be cleaned also, the blade is not cleaning in the middle because the spring is not pressing it against the window.

I'm waiting for my 418B to arrive. I will need to clean mine too. Too bad I am making the trip to Tahoe on Thursday night and I will probably won't have it in time.
