Welcome, nice looking stable.

Nav screen: I have heard it to be a real pain in the arse and very fiddly to do yourself. Their are kits bouncing around fleabay if you take a look. Dealer can do a proper repair, take your wallet though.

Headlight lens: I'm with Tom on this one. Suck that dirty ol' bug right out of that headlight. Make sure you get any bug 'dust' 'powder' or whatever the hell that stuff is that comes with moths, bugs and the like off from the inside of the lens.

Hi and welcome. Nice looking X there.

In relation to the Nav screen, there is a place in Moorabin called Autotronic that advertises that they can replace the screen for $500. (autotronic.com.au) Mine did the same thing, but fortunately for me, the whole unit was replaced under warranty (that was the best thing that I ever purchased). The dealer here said that they fail from the sunlight, given the angle that the screen is on.

Hope that helps.

No, I purchased an aftermarket warranty. Cost was $3k for 4 years coverage. Was the best thing that I could have done. In the last 12 months, I've had the alternator replaced, the whole nav screen/stereo unit replaced and compression arm bushings (??? think that's what is was) all done under warranty. Only out of pocket expenses that I've had to pay has been diagnostic changes by the dealer.

Yer they were use to be sponsors of e46fanatics.com but were too expensive compared to other sponsors. However their products are not too bad.
