CD Multichanger problem

Hi

Could anyone shed any light on a problem I am having with my BMW 6 CD boot mounted changer. The player loads disks and plays fine when stationary or being driven on smooth road surfaces, however when driven over even moderatly bumpy roads it stops and starts the track, not really jumping but stopping play and then resuming.

Anyone had this experience or know what the problem may be????

Cheers

Kev

this happenned to me, I took it in to Alpine and they "serviced" it, $60... never had a problem since. The tech said he just cleaned and lubed everything up.

Good to know there's a fix for it. I've used my CDC for the 1st time ever and thought about the crappy design of placing it right over the rear wheel. Every little bump... even the slightest, the CD will skip!!! Will stick with my iPod for tunes.
