4.6 Tips Install Gone Wrong

I had the 4.6 tips laying around, finally got them installed today but the shop totally f'd it up..I'm not sure how they welded it but the tips are not straight, clearly crooked! It's unbelievable to me that they thought it was good enough telling me "best i could do, what can you do"

Anyways..I'll be taking this to another shop today...sorry just had to share today's trama with someone

I had them welded on my 3.0 and it took forever for them to eye ball it and I still don't think they are 100 percent straight.. Sorry to hear about your problem..

damn that is real bad. Good thing you did not pay them. It is a pretty straight forward weld after the old tips are cut off. The shop that did mine took about 30 minutes and charged $60.

It might have to do with how the oem tips were cut off?
