"Check Brake Lining" problem, different from others
The most recent mechanic to study it believes it could be "the board", some sort of electronic misfire in the cluster. He seemed to notice the angle of the truck when parked plays a role. Hoping not, as this is pricey. Any ideas?

While it could potentially be a circuit board, it seems that you have an intermittent connection issue. That is likely due to heat or corrosion, and that is much more likely to be at the plugs where the sensors are connected. Not sure what your three mechanics have done so far, but I would examine the wiring in that location, and clean the contacts there, first. I would also change the two sensors out, it is easy to do without removing brake pads. The fault could be in the wiring from the plug to the sensor itself, in either of the two sensors.
