What is the correct size of tires for these wheels? And how wide/width can these wheels takes? Thank you guys. |

255/50. If you want wide, I wouldn't go wider than 275.

The maximum width of tyre that can fit on an 8.5" rim varies slightly depending upon the recommendations of the tyre manufacturer and and the model of tyre you choose, but this site gives a good guidline to what's generally acceptable...

According to this site you could go to a 275/50/19 on an 8.5 rim but this size would be slightly larger than standard in terms of rolling diameter and it would give you a small speedo error. |
