Battery redux: thanks, XOutpost!
I did a quick search on XOutpost for battery replacement threads, and learned exactly what I needed to know. Thanks everyone, especially MotorDavid's posts. I got a replacement at my local O'Reilly Auto Parts this morning, and replaced my battery without any headaches at all. Cool, eh?

Isn't it great when all the info you need is already there for the taking!
Just make sure the battery vent hose/tube is hooked up and hopefully you won't have any battery related problems for years to come now.

And don't forget to connect it up to a charger right away to completely top up the charge.

Is it a better idea to connect the charger directly to the battery or go through the '+' terminal under the hood? My old charger is still lying around and I figure a good charge wont hurt even though the battery still cranks like a champ.
