Two electrical problems in one!

My dash is telling me "Automatic suspension leveling inactive" and my radio doesn't work. Both issues occur in tandem...when the suspension message goes away, the radio works. I pulled off one of the relays (green one on the right in photo), re-installed and everything worked...for about five minutes, then the message came back and the radio stopped working (but this time the radio power light remained on, but all radio functionality was gone). The relay was hot compared to the others...could this be the issue?

Also, when looking at the fuses it tells me 7, 72 and 73 are for the radio. I can see fuses 72 and 73, but where is 7?

This is on an '02 X5 4.4 w/ 41K miles.

Do you have regular radio or NAV? I ask because all the controlling computers for both systems are in the lower rear by the battery... so I'd check for the possibility of water ingress in the left rear side panel as well as in the battery box. Hopefully that isn't it but that is likely the best thing to rule out first.

Then definitely check for any signs of water and/or corrosion in the aforementioned areas as the NAV's radio tuner is in the battery box as well as the self leveling suspension control computer.

Checked the battery area...no visible signs of water or any damage. I did, however, notice that my second brand new batter from BMW was black in the status indicator window, which means it was low. I've got my charger on it, but from what the charger is currently showing it at, it'll be morning before it's fully charged.

Sad thing is that BMW just checked the electrical system looking for a drain because this is the second battery in three months.

Deep sigh...I've never owned a car with so many problems!
