19" Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport after 600 mile trip

Finally got a chance to do more that just drive around town on my new HP Sports. Staggered 19" sizes. These replaced my old Damairis tires. So what do I think? Big thumbs up!

Pluses:
Extremely quiet on almost all road surfaces
Amazingly compliant ride, and Illinois certainly has it's share of bad roads
Grip is just as good as the Damairis in the turns, though turn-in response is slightly less. Could be a function of new full tread tires vs old tires.
Grip in a turn is very high, comparable to the Damairis, but once you set the turn, the Duelers seem to hold the line much better than the Damairis's
Nice in the wet. I was 50 miles into driving in a rain storm before I even thought about the tires, that's how confidence inspiring they were. Way better than the Michelins. Though not on par with other tires I've had on other cars (Toyo T1R, Goodyear F1GSD3 which are superb)
Price- with the rebate these were under $800 mounted and balanced, far cheaper than other more common staggered 19's

Negatives?
Sidewall is a bit busy looking up close, but not noticable from a distance or when in motion
The only place the tires make any noise is on certain fresh concrete surfaces, a very low rumble. Hardly noticable but there. No worse than the Dunlop M3 snows on my 528, and much better than the summer Yoks on that car.

I'm extremely happy with these tires. They may not be the ultimate canyon carver, but are very capable, especially when you factor in the price.

i have the same setup....on my second round already

great tires for the money - great in rain and very grippy, while lasting longer than the OEM tires
