it is not just the rim size fit important [calliper clearance, fender rubbing, or bolts offsets and so on...], but also the weight that the rims wil be supporting ...... compact size car 3.000 LB's vs SUV 6.000 LB's or so LB's .... the rims for SUV/Truck are designed to cary more weight [ unless you will be driving with no more than 50MPH on perfect road with not any pot holes] .... just my 2cents.
PS: same story with the tires ratings .....
