CD changer
hey everyone..just want to see if anyone else has ever had this problem?..I have an 03 4.6 with nav and a 6 disc cd changer in rear..all of a sudden the last few weeks or so..when i go to play a cd it reads NO DISCS...and I dont understand it...I was just playing cds fine not to long ago...so I ejected my magazine and put back in..nothing..I have taken the cds out and made sure all were label up..which they were.. I took all 6 cds out and put them back in, in different slots...then put magazine back in and still nothing...I dont know what to do..any help would be great..thanks

Many times the connections on the back come loose. Try unplugging them and re-plugging in to ensure its all making good contact.

I had the same problem about a month ago, but just ejecting the magazine and then putting it back in solved my problem. No issues since.

I'd try the connection check recommended above. Are you using burned discs or original CDs? If that doesn't work maybe your laser is out of alignment - in which case you'll have to replace the whole unit.

Thanks everyone for all ur input.. I greatly appreciate it.. I just still havnt had any luck with anything .. Even checked all connections.. Just wondering if anyone else has any input on this topic... It's just killing me.. I hate when options don't work right... Thanks in advance for any new ideas

I had this probleme to and i took it to my bmw dealer and he said that it was because i was playing burnd cd's.... dont know if its that or not but they fixed it for me and i am still playing burnd cd's and it works like a charme....
