ModBargain cart...

sorry but had to share my excitement
....just ordered me spring upgrades....

AFE Stage 2 CAI
AFE throttle body spacer
H&R trak+ spacers front & rear
StopTech Rotors front & rear
Axxis ultimate pads front & rear

btw, have good experience from ModBargains..got the matte black grille there last in Jan..service was excellent.

Anyone tired the H&R sport springs?? was going to get them but then thought..hey that enough for this order.. hehe

The stage 2 CAI just has a tube that replaces the accordion factory tube? Anybody know if that tube could be added to the Dinan CAI?

What does the throttle body spacer do and what are the thoughts on this part?

Should be fun adding all these parts, take some pics for us, mostly the throttle body spacer and the CAI stage 2 tube. Maybe you could post a pic of the stage 2 tube and factory tube side by side.

Have Fun!!!

thanks..

here is a link to the TB spacer,
AFE Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer 4.4L/4.6L/4.8L
they say its not supposed to make that annoying whistle..but of course if it does nothing..it will look good on my desk, if its heavy enough..
supposedly it twists incoming air to provide amore thoroughly mixed air to fuel ratio..>I am no scientist in that field so you can sell me anything.. hehe

ya will have fun thanks, post pics later..will do them in 2 weeks..

it's not like a carb where the spacer can tune the rpm range or enhance the fuel atomization and distribution. You have injectors that fire at the intake valve so the fuel atomization is already great. Everything else sounds great!

The gruppe M intake is a must... It make the X's sound like the supercharger.and it's plug -n- play.
