DEPO angel eyes uprgrade.

Hello guys ..

would like to thank you for the nice forum first .. I've been watching it from a very long time , but never needed anything , cuz i sold my X5 E53 ..

but now I have a firend who has X5 2002 with DEPO headlights installed already with the halogen angel eyes ..

so I'm trying to help me upgrading his angel eyes to CCFL ..

does anyone know if the CCFL for the OEM headlights will fit the DEPO headlights or is there anywhere ( I mean any site ) I can buy him the CCFL upgrade for the DEPO ..

thank you very much for your help ..

These guys have a long history with aftermarket BMW angel eyes products. Might want to give them a call.

WARNING.... I certainly have a long history (134 posts) with these guys.

Here's another option for you
eas - 714.369.8524 | DEPO - e53 X5 Projector Headlamp Set (00-03)

And some other info here:

Good luck

I think EAS sells some CCFL as well. Most of the CCFL are exactly the same thing, Umnit@!#$ just put on their own branding / packing on.

Getting the CCFL should be pretty easy, it's baking & opening the headlights that's challenging! :-p

My concern is the size of the ccfl rings . I've seen a lot of ccfl's here and there but I'm afraid the ccfl for the OEM headlights and the depo headlights are different .

Um... the ring sizes between the OEM and DEPO should be the same if I'm not wrong. May be other members can confirm this?!

Shoot EAS an email, they have been very helpful and can provide more technical details.
