BMW X5 4.6 VIN number needed
hi,

I have a 2000 4.4 and wanted to order the 4.6 bodykit. I spoke to my local BMW stealer and they told me i had to have a 4.6 vin number before i could order this kit . Is this correct and if so where can i get a 4.6 vin number from ?

I am based in the UK if that would help.

Do they not know what a 4.6 is? Why do they need a vin#?

they said only people with the X5 4.6 can place an order for the parts.
