Securing floor mats

None of my floor mats are attached to the car carpet, and the driver's mat slips and slides. Drives me crazy. Anyone have a quick fix?

Daphne, do you have the velcro pucks in the carpet for the mats to stick to?

Definitely get the velcro.....should be inexpensive. I also recommend the rubber all weather floormats......I love them & I don't have to worry about keeping the carpeted mats clean..........

Daphne, where in TN are you located? I'm in Knoxville.......

Mine are really heavy OEM all weather mats and they don't move at all and I haven't even used the fasteners on them. I was going to install them, but I wanted to try without 1st just to see if they slide - so far, they haven't moved even 1/2 inch..............money well spent - and I got a good discount from my salesman..........

Daphne, ask your dealer for the velcro holders for your floor mats. They are round, about the size of a small can of soda.

Sometimes you can pick these up on ebay. Search for floor mats.

I don't get this thead: my ol' '01 came with v. good carpet mats held down by a pair of plastic velcro sided "pucks" that twist into a small notch on floor. They move a touch on a long trip, but I just reposition the mats on the pucks. I thought mats and this attachment sys. were pretty std?
