A little thumb of rule:

White smoke : water in the combustion
Blue smoke : oil in the combustion
Black smoke : too rich! (too much gasoline vs. air)

if i follow your rule of thumb then its not oil nor gas, its water given the smoke is really white when car is idle (just as seen on the video).
