Tracking the X
I own a 4.4 pre-facelift with H&R for the front and rear air sus. Was wondering if I track the car for fun, is the rear sus rate is sufficient and how does it maintain the same rate and the same time lowering it. Just curious.

I've heard rear airsprings will continue to deliver similar abilities when lowered one inch compared to stock height. Any lower and the rear shocks fail to perform up to par. For this reason a few members including myself have deleted the air suspension and changed to the more conventional method of springs.

So you already done the conversion to non air sus?
Did you go for the stock or complete KW Variant coilovers? How much did you total conversion cost? Sounds interesting and I would think definitely more comfortable compared to air sus? Correct me if I am wrong... |
