guys, I bought a used one to use during winter but I noticed there are supposed to be 3 black "clips" or something on the bottom part of the kidney grills, but mine is missing 2 of them.
Do they CLIP into something or are they just to stop the plastic from sitting ON the hood paint?

bug shield

when I bought my 2006 I had the dealer install the bug shield and there
is only in the center under the grill. based on your picture where there
is one stuck to the shield there should be a corresponding one that sticks
to the car itself so they interlock.

on the hood above the outerside of the lights I have two screw type setups that basically clamp to the inside of the hood.

hopefully I didnt confuse this to much. perhaps in the morning I can take
some pictures. Right now it is two dark outside
