My x5 is posessed by a demon

My 2002 X5 3.0 has issues. I had the drivers side window crap out while going through Arby's the other day, so i ripped the door apart and found out it was that stupid plastic clip that holds the window to the mechanism. So I rigged it up, left the window control box unhooked, then put the door back together while i waited for the part.

Today the little clip part came and i ripped the door apart again, put it in and everything worked fine. Went to clean up my tools, and lock the car door and the car door wouldn't lock with the key. So i started pressing buttons and the alarm started going off. Then for the next 2 hours i battled this demon alarm that would trigger every time i hit the unlock button from my key, and wouldn't shut off for 30 seconds.

I tried unhooking the hood sensor, no luck, so i got fed up and pulled fuses 6 and 13. Problem solved

My question is what do each one of those fuses do specifically? i am guessing my alarm problem is a bad sensor in the door maybe? Anybody have this problem, or is my X just another one of the many with gremlins?

I also have this weird problem where when i put in the clutch at a light, every once in a while the car dies. The battery light and oil light come on red. This doesn't happen often, but enough to become annoying. I usually just let the clutch out and roll start it and it goes. Anyone? Tried the search bar on both of these and nothin
