language settings problems
i have an x5 e53 54 facelift , the language on the onboard computer is english, but the on the dash board info strip , it displays information in french ???? any idea where and how this can be rectified ? Really appreciated

Hi, I had the same issue after upgrading the satnav software and mapping (UK supplier, well known on X5drivers.co.uk, not OEM). Dashboard info strip is english provided speedcamera warnings are set to 'on'. I find the warnings irritating, so switched them off, so my dashboard info strip is in French. Its a software bug in the upgrade I got, but I live with it. Not sure if this is whats causing your problem but if you upgraded your mapping, could be.
