Need help, coolant coming from torque converter

Hey all, I noticed a coolant drip on the driveway so I put the X5 up on ramps and after removing the reinforcement plate I noticed coolant drips coming from the flywheel area of the torque converter. Anybody ever run into this or have any experience I could use some input. This is on my 2002 X5 4.4i Thanks |

It's actually your valley pan gasket that is underneath the intake manifold. Do a search on valleypan in this forum

Thanks jst 2878 I think you nailed it. I went to the differant threads and it sounds like the problem. I'm ordering the parts today along with replacing the hoses and probably other cooling system parts, water pump, sensor etc. The X has 96k on it so it's time. I'll get it dismantled this weekend. Thanks again. I love this forum.
